The residential database includes indoor and outdoor volatile organic compound (VOC)
concentrations in residential homes from China, India, and the United States (U.S.), which is
generated from CIRI’s global air quality research initiatives. The commercial database includes
indoor and outdoor VOC levels in public and commercial office buildings across the U.S., which is
collected from U.S. Environmental Protection Agency Building Assessment Survey and
Evaluation (BASE) study.
Using this tool, you can:
- identify commonly (or uniquely) and abundantly existing VOCs in indoor and outdoor environments
- learn concentration levels of detected VOCs in different settings
- compare the chemical levels at different locations
